Step 4 - Phytosanitary Certificate

The Phytosanitary certificate is a document issued by Malawi’s Plant Protection Services (PPS), at Chitedze Research Station, stating that the consignment is free from the quarantine pests specified by the importing contracting party.  As such, it is not a legal requirement to export but is required in order to apply for the Customs and Excise Declaration Form.
